Amadatu Mufasserin, Sheikhul Muhaddiseen, Muhaddis-e-Kabir, Qudwatus Salikin, Zuhratul Arifeen, Hazratul Allama Sysusaadaat, Ghaus-us-Zaman, Hazrat Syed Sakhi Shah Muhammad Ghaus Sahib, Hasani Husaini (R.A) Dehli Darwaza Lahore 

Birth: The Hazrat was born in 1084 in Peshawar.

EDUCATION: The Hazrat got his education under the supervision of his father. When he reached to the age of 07, the Hazrat tried hard to memorize the holey Quran but he was unable to do so. Then his father requested Hazrat Ghaus Pak to do favor on him and with that, at the age of 18 years, the Hazrat was able to get all that “uloom” which were matchless. The Hazrat also travelled to Kabul and met religious scholars and got benefitted from them.

Obtainment  of mysticism: When the Hazrat disengaged from lore, his father, Hazrat Syed Hassan Badshah Sahib started to teach him mysticism. First of all, he did Bayat (oath of allegiance ) in silsila Qadria from his father and sat in intimity (Khilwat). He performed four chilla (a practice involving withdrawal (‘uzla) from ordinary social interaction for the purpose of dedicating oneself wholly to spiritual exercises and ascetical disciplines for a period of forty days). Then the Hazrat remained un-diverted in one place for six years  and meditated. After six years, the hazrat was granted charter of Khilafat.

CHARTER OF KHILAFAT: Glory and Honor belongs to Allah, Glorified and Praised who gifted mankind with the light of insight and elevated man from his other creatures and peace of Allah be upon the last Messenger and Prophets, Muhammad and his companions and on Hazrat Syed Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gillani.

TEACHINGS OF THE HAZRAT: The Hazrat advised his disciples to remember four things;-

  1. To fear no one but Allah
  2. Always worship Allah regularly
  3. Do practice extrinsic sharia (legalism)
  4. Safeguard the limits of Sharia

Further he said that our pathway is Qadira consisting of following 11 things;-

  1. Keep your chest wet with the Zikr of Allah
  2. Keep your face vivacious (extrinsic  with politeness and humbleness and intrinsic with the zikr of Allah
  3. To do good deeds with your hand
  4. To forfend affliction
  5. To forgive the omissions and errancies of your Muslim brothers
  6. To do exhortation (Naseehat) to your youngers and elders
  7. To be punctual
  8. To present you self as a sacrifice greater good
  9. To avoid offending others
  10. To avoid company of those who are not your co-religionist
  11. To help each other both in the affairs of both worldly and religious

THE FACTUALITY OF ASCETIC (FAQEER):

The factuality of faqeer is that you avoid begging from other humans. Mysticism is not an illusion but is a fact and consist of five things;-

  1. To keep your Nafs hungry by not eating meals
  2. To castoff from lousy world
  3. To letoff pleasures of mortal world
  4. To avoid all those things which are pleasantness to Nafs

He further said that only two things in the world are enough for a  believer;-

  1. The society of a saint
  2. The service of an ascetic (Faqeer)

Genealogy: Geology of Hazrat meets with Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)  after 26 generations.

Travels: The Hazrat travelled a lot in his life. He ramined in the company of Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor Sahib. Then he went to Pathwar where he met Shah Chirag Sahib. He also met with Syed Faqeer  Shah Sahib (Attock), Hazrat Jee Baba Sarkar Naqshbandi, Mian Noor Muhammad Sahib,  Shah Muhammad Fazil Sahib, Noorpur Shahan Shah Abdul Latif Bari Imam Sarkar and Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib. Later the  Hazrat attended the Mazar of Ajmir Sharif and met with Khwaja Ata Rasul , Khwaja Mueen Ud din Chushti. The hazrat also travelled to Kashmir.

 

The hazrat also met with Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir in Delhi who presented the Hazrat 160 kanals of land and diamonds and jewels but the Hazrat did not accepted it and said that the same may rather be distributed amongst the poor and needy people. Muhammad Shah Badshah Rangila in Lahore used to visit the Hazrat frequently.

 

Micracle of the Hazrat: while on his way to Lahore, on the station of Attock, a Mahatma with his disciples came to Hazrat. He had the formula of making gold and wanted the hazrat to take it and make as much gold as he wants so that he could feed the thousands of people coming to the table of the Hazrat. The Hazrat threw the formula to the river. The Mahatma was very sad with this. The Hazrat then pointed to the River and the river started to throw tons of gold. The Mahatma was so much impresees with this event that he alongwith his disciples accepted islam. The Mahatma  later in his life reached to the post of Khalifa.

When emperor Muhammad Shah reached Peshawar he asked if there is any saint (Wali Ullah) ho could be requested for pray and success. People told him about the Hazrat. He then wrote a letter to Hazrat asking him to come to Peshawar. The Hazrat replied that this is not his way. The king got angry and again wrote r to Hazrat but the Hazrat replied the same. Then the king requested the Hazrat for to pray for him. The Hazrat did Dua and the water level in the sea sat. the king then came to Peshawar and met with Hazrat with respect.

When Ranjeet Singh became the governor of Panjab, he ordered to dismantle all the buildings outside Lahore. On the day when the dismantlement reached Darbar of the Hazrat, Ranjeet Singh died. Karak Singh, the next governor ordered the same and he also died on the same day. His son Nonehal Singh also died. After this, the wife of Ranjeet singh became governor and he order to reconstruct the dismantled Mazar.

The Hazrat died on 17 Rabi’ al-awwal 1152. Urs of the Hazrat is celebrated on 17 and 18 Rabi’ al-awwal with full religious zeal.
